Dr. Andrew Lerman is a seasoned neurologist with over a decade of clinical practice experience, grounded in a rich educational background in medical science. His academic journey began at McGill University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Physiology.

A keen interest in advancing his medical knowledge and a career in Neurology led him to pursue a Doctor of Medicine at St. Matthews University School of Medicine. His postgraduate training included a medical internship in internal medicine at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine / Jackson Memorial Hospital, followed by a rigorous neurology residency at the same institution.


Dr. Lerman further specialized with a neurophysiology fellowship at the prestigious New York University School of Medicine, focusing on neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson’s diseases.

As a Partner and Board Member at First Choice Neurology, Dr. Lerman oversees complex case management in one of the country's largest neurology practices. Additionally, he is the founder of Gables Neurology, a practice dedicated to advancing neurological care by integrating innovative research directly into clinical applications. Throughout his career, he has led over 20 clinical trials and research initiatives as a Principal Investigator, focusing on developing new therapeutic strategies for neurodegenerative diseases. Dr. Lerman is particularly dedicated to providing access to cutting-edge therapeutic and diagnostic options for Hispanic/Spanish-speaking patients, reflecting his commitment to patient-centric care and scientific integrity.
