Dr. Jonathan Cross is a board-certified neurologist recognized by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the FIU Herbert Wertheim School of Medicine, where he is deeply involved in educating medical students and residents. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine and went on to complete his Neurology Residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital.


Further honing his expertise, Dr. Cross undertook a Neuromuscular Fellowship, specializing in Electromyography/Nerve Conduction Studies. While Dr. Cross is skilled in General Neurology, he harbors a particular interest in neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer's Disease and Parkinson's Disease.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Cross is actively engaged in research, contributing valuable insights into the understanding and treatment of migraine, neuropathy, radiculopathy, and other neurological disorders. His commitment to advancing neurological science is evident in his participation in the NFL Concussion Settlement Program and various research projects aimed at enhancing patient care in neurodegenerative diseases. A recognized leader in his field, Dr. Cross has been honored as a Top Doctor by Aventura Magazine for 2023 and 2024, reflecting his dedication to excellence in neurology and patient care.
